In the five years since its reopening, the 29th Street Community Center, a program of Strong City Baltimore, has become a neighborhood asset – a truly remarkable space run for and by the community.
To date, we have served over 1,400 residents of all ages through over 80 enrichment programs, more than 95 community events, and regular community association meetings. We provide free and low-cost programming for all ages, a structured afterschool program five days a week, as well as employment opportunities for young people in our community year-round.
The Center depends on the support of generous individuals like you – please consider becoming a Friend of the Center by making a tax-deductible donation today! Your gift will help make program offerings affordable for all, provide scholarship assistance as needed, and sustain the financial health of the Center.
